Those who meditate on the Gita will derive fresh joy and new meanings from it every day”
Mohandas K. Gandhi
For the first time!
A well-being pack based on the timeless wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita.
The Bhagavad Gita gives us an outlook on well-being from a perspective very few of us have experience of and it is this which makes this well-being programme so unique and powerful. The Bhagavad Gita teaches that true well-being comes from the principle of unity- unity between body, mind and spirit. If our mind is in conflict, if our mind is not balanced with our body and with the needs of the soul, then there is a fundamental disunity in our life. There can be no real peace, there can be no real happiness, there can be no real love. The Bhagavad Gita teaches us how we can achieve this through yoga. That is what yoga means – simply to unite. To unite the body with nature – that is Hatha-yoga (physical techniques). To create unity within the mind and the body – that is Pranayama (regulation of breath). To create unity with the mind and the atma – that is Jnana (self realisation). To create unity between the soul and God – that is Bhakti (love). That is the complete yoga system – unity. And in that unified condition, we can actually express that natural innate love, that we have found in our own life, in everything we do in the world and with everyone we interact with.
Through the well being programme we have put together you will learn the foundational principles of yoga and how to apply those principles in your life. You will learn through reading the literature, hearing the audio, practising the meditation and attending a course where well experienced practioners will guide you through the programme. And, we won’t just leave you there. We will connect you to groups where you can interact and grow with fellow likeminded people and we also offer you a further FREE follow-up course called Gita Life.
“When doubts haunt me, when disappointments stare me in the face, and I see not one ray of hope on the horizon, I turn to the Bhagavad-gita and find a verse to comfort me; and I immediately begin to smile in the midst of overwhelming sorrow. Those who meditate on the Gita will derive fresh joy and new meanings from it every day” – Mohandas K. Gandhi
